"He said hold tight..." (Track #1). Electronic dance music (EDM) should not be cold and heartless. This DJ set dispels that stereotype. Trance and progressive sounds have this unholy ability to express emotion when partnered with a strong melody and lyric. If you are a fan of my DJ sets/podcasts then you know what I mean. So sit back, turn down the lights, light a candle, turn the music up and then let this sound enrapture and prepare your soul for departure. You're "only human." Track #3. Get ready to thoroughly enjoy!

  1. Fighting Fire - Breakage feat. Jess Mills

The best tunes from this past year featuring big beats and big male vocals. Is it possible to have to much testosterone? No. Why do the divas have to dominate all the time? Hell with that. The namesake DJ set that kicked off this podcast two years ago. Look for "Retro Fusion Part 2", the best remakes of 2010, next week. Enjoy!

"When I'm back on the dance floor I'm religious." - Gravitonas. Full of hot beats guaranteed to take you to your own personal EDM temple. "...find a new calling to God." May become one of my fave sets of this year. Enjoy!

Track List (57:13):

  1. Stone Cold (Beltek Remix) - Alan Connor: My fave tune on this set. Yorkshire (England) native, best known for his tracks "I Love the Sunshine" and "Sun Went Down", returns with a progressive house stomper thanks again to Beltek. "Have you ever shared a drop of blood, Are you human or is that to much to ask for, I really want to know is there something underneath the roof, Is your heart beating fast enough? Your stone cold!"
  2. Alive (Mikael Weermets & Johan Wedel Remix) - Markus Binapfl & Erick Morillo Feat. Fiora Cutler: "First you let loose and let the rhythm take you away.... let it lift you up high. I feel alive!"
  3. 1000 Islands (Triarchy Edit) - Pendulum vs Rank 1 vs Nic Chagall vs Wippenberg: The original Pendulum track first appeared on my DJ set Heaven about two months ago. This mash up is just as tasty. "What are you waiting for as we go towards the light?"
  4. Kickstarts (Wideboys Extended Remix) - Example: "Look into your eyes imagine life with out ya'. Love kickstarts again." The original is perhaps the 2nd biggest tune for Example but this remix by Wideboys is irresistible.
  5. Religious (Dada Life Remix) - Gravitonas: "I used to be hollow, Then you came along, Now i kneel to Apollo." Second fave tune.
  6. I Will Find You (Outburst Vocal Mix) - Mark Sherry feat. Sharone: "Hope is your survival, no matter where you go I will find you, In a place of no frontier... If it takes a thousand years." Third fave tune. Soaring vocals and a driving trance beat that is just out of this frakin' world!
  7. Frozen Umbrella (Henrik B vs. DjRoman Bootleg Remix) - Madonna vs Ingrosso: "Let all the hurt inside of you die, You hold the key." One of the top 25 most powerful women in the last century (recent Time Magazine) vs 1/3 of Swedish House Mafia. Rumor is Ingrosso and Madonna will record together on her next album. I quiver in anticipation. This bootleg is amazing.
  8. I'm In Love (Dave Martin, Hamvai PG & Roberto Winny Remix) - Compact Disco: "But she didn't give me time enough to pray, I've a love, I hope, will see the light of day, I'm in love..."
  9. Survive (Club Mix) - Laurent Wolf feat. Andrew Roachford: "People surviving people. Gotta find a good way to stand up for brother. Why are we just waiting in vain, why are we so much in pain, survive."
  10. Hello (Club Edit) - Martin Solveig feat. Dragonette: "I could stick around, get along with you, doesn't mean that I'm really into you. Yeah I think you're cute, but I really think that you should know. I just came to say hello."
  11. Leave It All Behind  (Chad Jack Alternate Mix) - Jason Walker: "And I won't be held back by should's or could have been's Oh no, Oh no. I had to leave it behind. And it's a fact that I'm back and I'm feeling better than I felt before."
  12. Hot Mess (12" mix) - Chromeo feat. Elly Jackson from La Roux: "Your a hot mess! Because love wasn't meant to complain." Disco robot love song. LOL! Another fave on this set.

"A freeze-frame of your eye in the strobelight...I'm indestructible" - Robyn. A return to my style of a great DJ set mix. A wave crest of energy house, then a trough of melodic mellow trance half way in, then build back to the house crest at the end. An emotional journey on an EDM roller coaster. Enjoy the ride!

Track List (56:00):

  1. Love U More (Oxford Hustlers Club Mix) - Oxford Hustlers feat. Katherine Ellis: A remake of the 1992 top 40 and #1 dance hit by Sunscreem. I loved it back then and am thrilled that Katherine is the voice this time. "You can make the sun turn purple, You can make the sea turn turtle, You can make me dance to order. My sex hung, torn, and quartered, But you know you can never make me love you more."
  2. Paradisco (Extended Vocal Mix) - Arno Cost, Norman Doray & Ben Macklin: "I'm smiling on a Monday...I am not myself when I get round you. You bring out the best in me." So right indeed. My fave track on this set.
  3. Son Of A Gun (Yuksek Remix) - Oh Land: "But I am burned out on this rush... I want to change my orbit...This time I won’t save you...You son of a gun." Yuksek ruled the vocodor on this mix to great effect.
  4. Raining (Extended Mix) - Kaskade & Adam K feat. SunSun: "I'm in the car speeding from the past but it's raining on my windshield tonight. Praying it won't last... tonight." Two of my faves, Kaskade & Adam K, in one fantastic emotional tune.
  5. Indestructible (R2C2 Sydney Mix) - Robyn: My Madonna in the past year. "And I never was smart with love, I let the bad ones in and the good ones go, But I'm gonna love you like I've never been hurt before, I'm gonna love you like I'm indestructible." Saul Ruiz and Corey Craig, from NYC (holla!), teamed up a year or so ago and formed R2C2. Thank Saul for providing the remix. I appreciate that they kept the orchestration in their remix. Second fave track on this set. www.saulruiz.com www.coreycraig.com
  6. That Day (Myon & Shane 54 Club Mix) - Dresden & Johnston feat. Nadia Ali & Mikael Johnston: We are now at the trough just after the initial drop on our rollercoaster. Once again, two faves, Myon & Shane 54 and Nadia Ali, in one fantastic emotional tune. "We tried so hard, on that day, you left me standing there...I watched you walk away."
  7. Always (Sacha M Remix) - Manendra And Eva Kade: "Beautiful dream the eyes, and their drowning me this night, I have always learned their in my heart be sure...worry, don't worry, You are my only love."French producer Sacha M brings a soaring trance take to the equally wonderful original.
  8. I've Had Friends (Jean Elan Extended Remix) - Morgan Page feat. Jan Burton: I'm pretty sure you know by now that Morgan Page is God! "You were sensible to the very bitter end, my friend. Don't depend on those friends who pretend and lie." Whew those are some lyrics and Jean Elan mixed a fantastic hard beat to match. We're on our way up that crest on our rollercoaster.
  9. Embrace (Fred Falke & Miami Horror Remix) - Pnau: The original was on my January '09 mix set This Disco Doesn't Lie. Thank to fan Dalton Link who suggested it on my Facebook fan page.
  10. Starry Eyed (Penguin Prison Remix ft. Theophilus London) - Ellie Goulding: "Next thing we're touching." Finally, a remix of this song that I enjoy.
  11. Barbara Streisand (Original Mix) - Duck Sauce: "Barbra Streisand UUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, UUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" LOL. Ride is over. Now go get in line again.

Freemasons on iTunes

Freemasons on Masterbeat

Track List (57:23):

  1. Hold On (Freemasons Remix) - Mr.Dyf feat Shena: Featured on one of my 2009 dj sets. A fave from that year.
  2. I Want Your Sex (Freemasons Vocal Club Mix) - George Michael: The latest tune from Freemasons from the upcoming greatest collection from Ms. Michael. Deserves to be huge.
  3. Sexual Healing (Freemasons Remix) - Alibi & Rockefeller: Marvin Gaye would be proud of this! Keeps this tune relevant for another 20 years.
  4. Rain Down Love (2007 Club Mix) - Freemasons: "You've got the power!... heavenly storm."
  5. Lovin' You More (Freemasons Vocal Club Mix) - Steve Mac vs. Mosquitos feat. Steve Smith
  6. 4 Minutes (Freemasons Bootleg Mix) - Madonna: It was reported that Freemasons turned down a request by Madonna to remix her soon to be massive international hit "4 Minutes". Freemasons has major balls! However, a bootleg mysteriously found its way onto the internet around the same time. It may not be a real Freemasons remix but it's still damn good. I think it's real. Love! Two of my faves (Madge & Freemasons) in one song. I almost had a orgasm when I lapsed upon it way back then. These two forces of musical nature just need to find a way to collaborate for real. HELLO!!!!
  7. Moving into light (Freemasons Mix) - Black Fras: I used to listen to this tune back in 2005 during my commute from my job at Duke University to Raleigh, NC. I miss my white Saturn. Good times. Good times.
  8. Give Me the Night (Freemasons Vocal Mix) - Xavier: The classic tune made new. Only Freemasons.
  9. Mesmerized (Freemasons Full Vocal) - Faith Evans: One of the tunes that clued me into the brilliance of the Freemasons. This song defined the middle years of the last decade. I know you love it just as much as me.
  10. Nothing But A Heartache (Original Mix) - Freemasons: The middle sax break set to a funky beat is irresistible.

"Are you a believer?" (Track #1). You have no choice. Freemason's are actually God! Get Part 2 and Part 3! The third in my series of "God" DJ/Producer tribute mixes. Just genuflect and bow down to the greatness that is FREEMASONS! What? You don't know the eleventh commandment? So good that Eve commanded me to birth twins. "Thou shall not not beat mix only one monumental Freemason's mix unless they all are beyond Godly. To not do so would be a sin." Here is Part one. Part two in two weeks or join my Facebook Fan Page to get part two before anyone else. "Music makes the people come together" (Madonna vs. the Freemasons, Track #3).

Make sure to download my previous two "God" tribute mixes "Morgan Page is God" and "Digital Dog is God". Contemplating a Chicane and Tiesto "God" mix. Which do you prefer? Let me know at clubkerry@gmail.com.

Track List (55:51):

  1. Believer (Summer Of Pride Mix) - Freemasons
  2. Love On My Mind (Club Mix) - Freemasons
  3. Music Make Me A Dancer (Radboy Mash Mix) - Madonna vs. Freemasons
  4. When You Touch Me (Original Mix) - Freemasons featuring Katherine Ellis
  5. Here Comes The Rain Again (Freemasons Vocal Mix) - Eurythmics
  6. Uninvited (Freemasons Bootleg Mix) - Alanis Morissette: As the story goes, this is the version that was stolen from the Freemasons and thus made it onto the internet. It was an instant sensation. I secretly think the Freemasons were thrilled. However, there was never an agreement with Alanis. Too bad for her. They eventually recorded a vocal with Bailey Tzuke some time late. It was good but inferior to the bootleg. LOVE!
  7. Wonderful Life (Freemasons Club Mix) - Hurts: This cuteness and fantastic musicality of the guys in Hurts is only surpassed by this amazing remix. A fave of 2010.
  8. Ring The Alarm (Freemasons Club Mix) - Beyonce: I rarely put a well known over the top vocal "diva" on my DJ mixes. Here is one of those rare remixes that excels beyond the persona of the artist. Classic.
  9. Disco Lies (Freemasons Club Mix) - Moby: Almost nothing like the original. I love Moby but this remix is a clear indication of what the Freemasons can do to a song. A fitting closing to part one.
